Itinerary
Meeting our travelling companions and Tour Manager at London St Pancras, we board the Eurostar for a journey through the scenic French countryside to Paris. In the French capital, we change trains and continue to Strasbourg for an overnight stay.
The compact but captivating historic centre of this Alsatian city is dotted with grand squares and charming narrow waterways. Blending German and French architecture, Strasbourg's picturesque Grande Île is dominated by the incredible Gothic cathedral. Dating from the 13th century and featuring a façade of ornately carved portals, the cathedral is topped by a piercing, octagonal tower.
After checking in to our hotel in the centre of Strasbourg, we head out to a local restaurant to enjoy our first dinner together and savour the cuisine of the Alsace.

This was a bucket list trip and it did not disappoint. Yes there was a lot of travelling and walking but was all worth the spectacular scenery and lovely hotels. To top it all we had the best tour manger Neil who managed to keep us all on track (pardon the pun) and made sure we all had a great time.

Our Tour Manager, Neil, was extremely helpful, professional and able to answer all our questions he ensured that everyone was included and we all made each train connection with the minimum of fuss. The tour itself was well designed and the accommodation and provided meals were mostly above average. Would definitely recommend this tour.
